INTRODUCTION

3Wire RS2ZBEE is an industrial grade Zigbee Serial Device Server for connecting your Serial and Ethernet devices, such as PLCs, meters, and sensors, over a Zigbee wireless Network.

Your communications software will be able to access the serial devices from anywhere on a LAN/WLAN thru the Zigbee network. Moreover, the ZIGBEE device servers require fewer cables and are ideal for applications that involve diffcult wiring situations.

RS2ZBEE can operate as Modbus TCP Master, Modbus TCP Slave, Paired Mode, Bridge Mode with the data connection thru direct IP or Virtual COM.

Supports baud rate of 1200bps ~ 115200bps, 5 ~ 9 bits and parity can be “None”, “Odd”, “Even”, “Mark” & “Space”
Optical isolation of 1500V on RS485 / RS422 data lines; 2kV surge protection on Ethernet Port
Links Serial and Ethernet devices to an Zigbee network; simultaneous access over Ethernet & Serial
Serial port interface for RS232 / 485 / 422; terminal block for RS485 & RS422 and DB9 for RS232
Supports 10/100 Mbps Ethernet
Operates in Multi-Serial, STAR, MESH, & TREE Mode
Power / Link / Active LED indicator
Secure data access with 16encrypted channels
Upto 256 slaves connected on RS485 / 422 bus

Automatic discovery and configuration using provided 3Wire Device Management software or Web Browser configuration
Wide voltage 9VDC ~24VDC with dual voltage input; Screw Terminal or DC-Jack
Plug-in screw terminal wiring; accepts AWG12 ~AWG30 wires.
